For example Globalization and Liberalization of economy has brought a sea change in the business and industrial scenario high level aggressive competition among multinational and national organization have necessitate re orientation of business and industry. production is not only to be enhanced but has to be cost effective also which need flexibility of men power and labour employment thus outsourcing and need for certain activity which has assume greater importance.

The enforcement machinery under the contract labour (R&A) act is more occupied with activities related to the abolition of contract labour, much less it is regulation. In many cases it has become detrimental to the development of the industry and country as a whole. Various judicial judgements regarding contract labour and abolition act had given various permutations to the act causing serious implications on the smooth operation in the industry. However there are many ways and rules to implement the contract labour (R&A) act which will be explain in the course of my lectures.

Regarding the Factory Act 1948 the first act factory act was pass in India in 1881.
